What is TRIG?

Spook’s Transportable RIG (TRIG) is specially designed to provide environmental and security monitoring while in transit or for static areas that require temporary monitoring.

TRIG uses roaming data only SIMs. By confining use to carrying simple packets of data limits usage costs and is ideal for use in today’s modern world of the Internet of Things. The roaming SIM carries over 80 mobile service providers including O2, Vodafone, EE and Three UK.

Power Redundancy

TRIG’s cellular router has an internal lithium battery pack that is ideal for when mains power drops, whether from a conventional 13 amp UK power socket or a vehicle USB 12v/24v adapter.

Power level is monitored when power switches seamlessly from mains power to onboard power.

TRIG wireless sensors come in two variations

New Generation Long Range Wireless Sensors

New Generation sensors are robust but not weather proof. They are powered by double AA batteries with a battery life of approximately 10 years.

Industrial Long Range Wireless Sensors:

Industrial sensors come with industry leading NIST certificates*. They come in an IP65, NEMA 4X, CE rated, sealed, and weatherproof enclosures and are powered by a single, replaceable, industrial grade 3.6 V battery (included).

Solar option

An optional solar powered version is also available. The solar powered version includes a Lithium Iron Phosphate (LIP) rechargeable battery in conjunction with a solar power cell to keep the battery charged and at optimal capacity. If there is no light present at the solar cell, the battery alone could continue to power the sensor for up to 5 years.

*NIST certificated sensors have a six week lead time.
